- Abstract
The author of this note, in reference to the one cent British Guiana, then owned by Ferrary, states: "Now a stamp which is represented by a solitary specimen in the hands of a man not likely to part with the same cannot be said to enter into ordinary calculations, and so philatelists generally are agreed that the two stamps ilustrated here, the 1d and 2d 'Post Office' Mauritius are the rarest of all."
