Summary

Adolphe Borchard was a merchant and shipowner based in Bordeaux. During the 1860s he was listed as the consul of Austria and vice-consul of Mecklenbourg-Schwerin in the local Bordeaux Annuaire. He was married to Jeanne Heritzen, who discovered many Post Office stamps among his correspondence.
