- Summary
The Swedish Postal Museum opened in 1906. It has an extensive philatelic library, objects related to the history of the post, archival material related to Swedish postal history, as well as a large philatelic collection.
Two used specimens of the 'Post Office Mauritius' stamps were donated to the Museum by Swedish-American collector Hans Lagerloef in 1927. The Museum considers these its greatest treasures.
