- Abstract
On the philatelic dinner attended by Ferrary and Caillebotte, hosted by Tapling.
"The ex-President, Sir Daniel Cooper, whose presence was hailed by the older members with much enthusiasm, spoke of the old days of stamp-collecting, and of how he had been led on to embrace the pursuit; of the great interest and instruction he had derived from it, and of the pleasure with which he saw his grandchildren falling into the ranks as collectors. He testified to the gratification with which he saw around him Englishmen, Frenchmen, and Germans, all fraternally banded together in an attractive and intelligent pursuit."
